blackspeed measures the internal performance of a memorystick duo pro.
In contrast to external tools that test the ms through the usb interface
this application measures the psp-internal performance of the stick - and
thats all what counts, once you copied yor data to it.
Read the warning at application-start carefully. This program won't brick
your psp. But there's little chance, that you loose your data that's on
your memorystick - during my testing I never had such a loss but I only
have one psp and three ms-sticks. So everyone can join the betatest now

I tested the app only on a 3.03 OE A firmware, but chances are high that
it will work on any other custom firmware and even under a plain 1.5 fw.
Installation notes:
Just copy the folder 'blackspeed_v1_0_beta' to /PSP/GAME150 or /PSP/GAME
(depends upon firmware) and start 'blackspeed' from your xmb like any other
application.
After the tests completed succesfully there's a log file 'blackspeed.log.txt'
in the root of your memorystick and you will have a PerformanceIndex for
your ms (you should open 'blackspeed.log.txt' with wordpad). The original
Sony MS Duo Pro 32 MB that came with your psp has an index of 1.00. The
higher the index the faster your stick.
For comparison I included 3 logs for three different types of memorysticks.
The idea for this app came to my mind after I bought a Sony 4GB MS and changed it
afterwards to a SanDisk UltraII, which was much faster and also had a higher
capacity (3.66GB compared to 3.81GB).
feedback is welcome
