1. Install the HEN files, by following the details in the readme.txt file.
2. Test that HEN is working fine, by running one of the bundled sample applications - e.g. the cube demo.
3. If you have a TA-082 or TA-086 PSP, run the "TA082 IdStorage Changer", via HEN, to patch your registry before downgrading.
4. Get a copy of the v1.5 upgrade EBOOT (e.g. from here) and copy it to the /psp/game/UPDATE/ folder on your memory stick, as UPDATE.PBP.
5. Start the"PSP Update ver X.YZ" program via HEN, and follow the instructions.
6. Congratulations, you now have a v1.5 PSP!

Ottimo lavoro del team Noobz e di Dark Alex.
Come ogni downgrade, anche questo comporta il rischio di brick. Non ci prendiamo responsabilità per danni alle vostre console provocati dall'uso di questo programma. Dovete eseguirlo a vostro rischio.
Sottolineo che io personalmente non ho una 2.80 con TA-082 o 86 per provare questo software, quindi non posso dirvi che funziona, ma riportare solo quello che leggo sulla rete
Presenti i file.
Note sull'HEN
Instructions
------------
- Copy all contents inside MS_ROOT to the root of your memory stick.
- Go to the PHOTO viewer of the XMB and enter in the folder "HEN_280".
- If the psp just freeze, reboot your psp and try again. Currently the tiff is very unstable and it
is only executed sometimes. I'll try to improve that in the future.
- When you run the program, you'll see a coloured screen that can be one of two colors:
* Red: the files couldn't be written to the flash (it happens a few times). Just keep trying.
* Pale Blue: The files were written succesfully, and HEN is active. After that, the xmb will be rebooted. Now you can run the homebrew in format prepared for 2.71. (see details below). Note that a pale blue screen will appear again every time the PSP reboots with HEN active.
- As mentioned before, the patch will remain resident in memory, and even entering sleep mode
won't delete it. Only a hardware reset will remove the program from memory.
- When you do a hardware reset, you'll have to run the tiff again.
This time there will just be the pale blue screen and xmb reboot, since this time there is
no need to write to the flash.
Note: Ensure that you leave the PSP/HEN_280 and PSP/PHOTO/HEN_280 directories as some of the files
are used each time you enter HEN.
Note2: Once the program is loaded, it is independant of the memory stick contents. So you can
freely swap memory sticks.
Notes about homebrew running
-----------------------------
- Current homebrews are not supported. Since current homebrews are in static elf format, they
won't run (they are rejected by the 2.80 kernel). Homebrews for 2.80 have to be in prx format.
Programmers see the programming notes.
In future versions i may patch the kernel to allow it to accept static elf's.
- You can try using the PatchSFO tool from N00bz! to patch homebrew to HEN format.
- There are some samples in the "GAME" directory, all of them ported from the pspsdk samples,
except the nanddumper written by Dark_AleX.
* polyphonic, pspsdk sample (user mode).
* cube, pspsdk sample (user mode). It shows a cube rotating.
* kdumper, pspsdk sample (kernel mode). It dumps kernel memory to the memory stick.
* ipldumper, pspsdk sample (kernel mode). It dumps the ipl to the memory stick.
* systemparam, pspsdk sample (user mode). It displays info about the system
* nanddumper, by me. (kernel mode). It dumps the full nand content to the file
"nandimage.flash" in the memory stick. The format of the dump is compliant with u.p. chip.
(It requires 33 MB of free space in the memory stick).
Note sul Downgrader
Instructions
------------
- Copy the contents of MS_ROOT into the root folder of your memory stick.
- Get the official sony 1.50 update eboot and put it in the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder with the name of
UPDATE.PBP
- Run 2.80 HEN if you are not already running it.
- If running a ta-082 PSP execute the 2.80 idstorage changer. It needs 75% battery.
It will change some keys of your idstorage needed to downgrade the ta-082.
- The program will exit to the XMB. Now execute the generic downgrade, which will show in the xmb
as "Update X.YX" in the psp language.
- The generic downgrader will also need 75% battery. IT will downgrade your psp to 1.50.
- At the end, it will ask you to press X to restart the psp. Do it.
- If all went fine, you'll receive a blue screen telling you to press O. Do it, and reenter your settings.
Welcome to 1.50.
- If things didn't go that fine, you'll have a non-functional psp, aka brick.
You accepted that risk, remember.
