PSP Menu Edit Tool è un programma, basato sul tutorial rilasciato da Naoneo, che modifica le scritte associate alle icone nella Dashboard SONY della vostra PSP.
Vista la pericolosità e di fatto l'inutilità della modifica personalmente vi invito a non effettuare queste operazione poichè se intervenite sul firmware c'è sempre il rischio che qualcosa vada storto e che vi ritroviate tra le mani un mattone inutilizzabile.
Naturalmente il firmware che andate a modificare è solo una immagine che andrete a caricate con UMD Emulator tramite l'apposita opzione.
Di seguito le istruzioni del programma; PSP Menu Edit 0.1 Tool lo trovate invece in allegato.

First of all, this tool is based on the Tutorial from
Naoneo aka Fluff which was published at http://www.naoneo.com/
so of course i give big credits to him

At the Moment this program supports only 2 languages, English and German
because i donït speak the others and therefore i canït make researches of
the strings whch need to be changed.

What it is?

Itïs just a Program to change the Labels of ur PSP Menu.
It edits the topmenu_plugin.rco.

How to do so?
Well first u need to get that file. I got mine via copying it
with Fileassistant from F0:/vsh/resource to the root of my memory
stick, but u can also use Psardump to get it from an update file.


Here are some instructions to use the program:
1) Click the Language u want to change and which is set on ur PSP, else u
will not see the updated labels.
2) Click on the 3 dotts (...) after the path label and select the file to load.
Now change the Labels which get displayed...or not...do what u want...
3) After you are happy with ur changes...Press the patch button

How to install?
Well there 2 ways:

1) Copy it to ur Flash0 of ur PSP, which can brick ur PSP. But hey do it if u
have the Balls to do it, for me it worked but dont blame me for the shit u do,
if it bricks ur PSP!
2) Use it with UMD Emulator 0.8(c) from Humma.Kavula... Copy the file to ur memory stick
to F0/VSH/RESOURCE/topmenu_plugin.rco, then start UMD Emulator ... set Flash0 Emualtion to
on and select the iso to load... then the Menu will be changed.


PS: To be honest i donït give a flying fuck if ur PSP bricks :P But normally it shouldnït harm ur PSP and
is alot easier as doing it manually.
