The FPL Crew who are buddies of PSPX have released an impressive new loader with a difference. The unique feature of this Loader is that it patches the psp kernel (1.5 only for now!) to allow loading ALL modules from memory stick so you do not need to preload every module but just need to change paths in the BOOT.BIN! That's great news indeed! You can discuss the loader in this forum thread. This PSPX loader seems to be the loader you have all been waiting for and looks set to lead the way for future PSP loaders! A big thumbs up goes to the FPL crew who made this one!
Here is some info straight out of the readme files...
Q: Why are loader apps needed for loading psp games?
A: Sony added a protection to the kernel method that is used by games to load needed modules (compare .dll's on windows) to disallow the loading of modules from a memory stick device - the available loaders now do the trick to preload all modules to memory (from kernel mode) and then launch the game
Q: Why is this loader different?
A: This loader patches the psp kernel (1.5 only for now!) to allow loading ALL modules from memory stick so you do not need to preload every module but just need to change paths in the BOOT.BIN
Q: Do the cracked games work 100%?
A: Yes, they play 100% (though i didn't test WiFi) and you don't need a UMD inserted, please report bugs
Q: Will 1.0 psp's supported soon?
A: Yes, next version will patch the kernel module on 1.0 too
Q: Will multiboot (select which game you wanna load) be supported soon?
A: Yes
Q: How to install the loader?
A: Copy PSPXLOADER* to /PSP/GAME and then launch from launch menu
Q: What is the OVERCLOCK mode?
A: You can launch a game and speed up the PSP to full speed by loading the loader and pressing CIRCLE instead of CROSS to launch the game
Q: How to crack games by yourself?
A: Change paths of all to-be-loaded modules in the BOOT.BIN to ms0://, this would normally lead to booting games that need any UMD inserted, to remove UMD check you'd need to crack that - we're currently working on coding a generic no-UMD-crack that should work on ANY game. We also hop to see a lot of scene input also.

A: This first release is already prepared for 3 games known not to work with NO UMD
Lumines: Unpack the ISO to /LUMINES so you got
LUMINES/SYSDIR and LUMINES/USRDIR,
apply PPF file to SYSDIR/BOOT.BIN,
copy lumines cfg file to memory stick root,
run the PSPXLoader
WorldTourSoccer Unpack the ISO to /W_SOCCER so you got
W_SOCCER/SYSDIR and W_SOCCER/USRDIR,
apply PPF file to SYSDIR/BOOT.BIN,
copy WTC cfg file to memory stick root,
run the PSPXLoader
Coded Arms: Unpack the ISO to /CARMS so you got
CARMS/SYSDIR and CARMS/USRDIR
apply PPF file to SYSDIR/BOOT.BIN,
copy coded arms cfg file to memory stick root and run the PSPX loader.
So there you have it, whate certainly looks like the future of PSP loaders. Included in the nfo is a special 'FUCK YOU' message to PS2nfo also.
