Japanese coding juggernaut NJ has released yet another version of his CPS2 test Emulator for the PSP, updating it to version 4 and fixing a sound bug. Although NJ was actually planning to give up on this project, due to numerous bugs and the slowdown caused by the PSPs limited hardware, he's still weathering each storm and has been continually dishing out updates. We are still unsure whether NJ is actually giving up on this project, it may happen, it may not depending on what walls he will come to in the development process.

Try this version of the emulator, and although this is still a test version in the very early stages, who knows, within a few weeks we could actually see a playable version of this with a great frame rate! With each new test version we are seeing improvements, and if a fully working version isn't possible with the time NJ spends on it and he once again closes the project, the possibility of the source code being released to a development team, as NJ previously stated, is still open.

Hopes for a fully-working CPS2 emulator can remain open with the continuation of this project. Remember, NJ has brought us the Capcom CPS1 emulator beta, the NEOGEO Emulator amongst many others, have faith!
