What goes around, comes around: the (hentai!) PS2 game-based Japenese anime Kimi ga nozomu eien (translated The Eternity You Desire) is now back to its original format - video game. SYGNAS-Dada has created a PSP homebrew game with characters based on the said anime. If the word "hentai" has caught your attention, well, don't start hoping for some skin in this one. Just like the cartoon, the game is nudity-free (although the anime did have some well-crafted sex scenes). The game, entitled Akakiki - Akanetan Kikiippatsu, is an action game letting you take control of this cute girl as she dodges those green blobs and red falling thingies. There's alo this big head of a cat following you around. It took me awhile to realize what its purpose was: he's actually there to aid you in fighting off your enemies. You can hold the cat's head and throw it to those blobby things. At the end of each stage are big robots, which, at first, looks too cute to be evil but believe it or not, they're out to get you. You'll also get pointers and instructions from the three characters of the anime - Mitsuki Hayase, Haruka Suzuyima, and Taira Shinji. But since the text is in Japanese, I doubt what they're saying will be of much help - unless you do understand the language. Akakiki - Akanetan Kikiippatsu works with 1.0 and 1.5.
